Today I feel like Scarlett O’ Hara, when she picks herself up out of the dirt in the garden. She looks up at the sky; eyes ablaze, fist clenched and determination on her face. She makes an oath in a husky don’t mess with me voice to never be hungry again! By golly it makes me want to shake my fist at the world too. What a notion to make the world and my circumstances bend to my will just like Scarlett!
I like the whole idea to ‘will’ myself in a direction. So here it is in true Scarlett fashion…
I WILL have a good week at work!
I WILL make healthy eating choices today and this week!
I WILL tackle that pile of laundry – Whoa lets not get too carried away!
I think we could all use a little Scarlett O in our life! And remember tomorrow is another day!
What will you do this week??
Gah, I want to be able to will myself to eat healthier this week but it's just so hard! Here's mine - I WILL work out this week, at least a couple times! We have a new xbox kinect and there's no excuse for me to sit on my butt!

ReplyDeleteIt's a daily thing to get something DONE!!! Too many things to list...it only gets me confused...
OK...no more reading blogs ;~)
Have a great day!
I am starting a fieldwork rotation, and have been so anxious that I won't have the time to get anything done but it really has helped. The anxiety of everything has put me into super wife/mom mode and I believe I'm about to fall over from exhaustion right now but find it humorous that I always seem to get more done when I'm busy than when I have time to check things off of my to-do list....and I'm always trying to eat healthier too, I find that when I cut up fruit and veggies before I am hungry I am 100 percent more likely to grab them when I need a snack...although I successfully finished off our Christmas goodies tonight, I told myself once they're gone I can no longer eat them so might as well finish them off right? :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful blog!!
