Every day may not be good...but there is something good in every day.

That silver lining is out there somewhere I just know it….

So if you read the last post you now know that we are indeed Homeless…not hopeless.

All joking aside we did indeed find a place to stay temporary as our deadline to get out looms ever closer.  It’s in a very small town 20 minutes away.  A good friend has just bought a house and her upstairs apt is now available.  We are very fortunate for that because we still haven’t been able to come up with anything outside of that.

In a way getting kicked out of this place is a blessing. It def. got us “unstuck.” It may have forced our hand but we are unstuck.

My nights have been busy boxing up items – sent a load home to my parents. All of my unnecessary dishes and mixing bowls and the like are gone. Last weekend we sent all of our tack and outdoor items home too.  Now it’s a matter of cleaning and figuring out who is going to let us borrow a stock trailer  to move the furniture.   I am determined to just pack and set up bare bones living in the new apartment. I know we will just be moving again.

However, we will just keep on going and figure this out.

  1. I hope you can relax and enjoy a nice Thanksgiving Day Celebration, Elizabeth. I wish you the best as you face this challenge. Remember, you still have a lot going for you. Hang in there.

  2. I hope things continue to work out for you guys! I totally get where you're coming from in getting "unstuck" though. It's easy to just go from day to day and decide to deal with it all later so sometimes its nice when something forces your hand to make a decision! Just look at this as a good to to declutter your life and only keep what's really important and meaningful to you. Don't forget to at least get a little baby mini Christmas tree and a few pretty little ornaments. It will make you feel so much better to turn off the lights and sit around in the glow of a Christmas tree - even if it's just temporary!

  3. Will be thinking about you Elizabeth! Know that here is a plan, sometimes we just have to wait for all of the pieces to come together. Hope you have a Happy Thanksgiving!
